It hasn't been long since crackforyoureyes.com got re-designed from a image slideshow to a full-on street art weblog, but we thought it was already time for the first redesign! Next to a clearer, better loading design we also did our very best to get all the content well categorized for your browsing pleasure. Check it out at http://www.crackforyoureyes.com. Of course, feedback, tips and material are always welcome.
There's been a flood in the UK lately, loads of places got hit by a massive amount of the infamous pink stickers. There are several sources distributing CFYE in the UK, but there might be one who is the most notable: Nine-O. We have yet to meet the good man, but reliable sources tell us there are not many more people who are so enthusiastic when talking about street art/graffiti. Not only an artist himself, but a big fan as well, he became CFYE ambassador in the UK in no time. Not only that, he also blogs on crackforyoureyes.com every once in a while. More then enough reason to give him a proper introduction!
Some artist are born to create, like Mr.Zero who has been creating art since the day he could hold a pencil. Mr.Zero is absolutely the best Hungarian street artist we know (also the only one, but just stay with me here). He has an impressive 3d style with a perfection we've only seen once or twice before. Besides this awesome style, he also has a creative approach to human-animal portraits. His work, in general, is sure to make you look twice. It's not just entertainment, these are his words, his letters and his language. Still we were bold enough to ask a couple of question, so once again, we're proud enough to present a brand new can of SPAM with Mr.Zero
No, your eyes are not playing any tricks on you. What you see before you is as real as it can get. No photoshop, no hallucinations but straight up real art, with the world as a canvas and light as brushes. That's why we are proud to present the newest addition to the CFYE crew: Them Chernobyl Buds.
As a Jedi Master with lightpainting he does everything for his art and is always prepared to take a young paddawan under his wings. Be prepared because he's ready to give Crack For Your Eyes a whole new meaning. Please strap on your seatbelt and be ready for a great adventure in photography with a series of lightpainting 101's containing spectacular images and tutorials.
But first, how it all began: An addiction to lightpainting by Them Chernobyl Buds...
What is CFYE? Â Why are you here? Â You guys are all over the place, what kind of projects do you have going on? Â
A selection of the (in our opinion) best mixtapes and new 'myspace' artists around the globe. We try and help you discover new artists and new music with almost daily posts of new electronic music. We wrapped that up in a sleek little jacket and called it Crackforyourears. Join the addiction! Â Â Â
Inspiration is everywhere, we found it on the streets and called it crackforyoureyes. By taking pictures of the nicest stickers, stencils, pieces, paste-ups we created a database with over 3000 street art pictures, and it still grows almost daily. Â Â Â Â
Your daily doses of inspiring Photography. Our Shuttercrack crew (including ourselves) are inviting the cream of the crop in our shuttercrack Flickr pool. The best of those get blogged on www.shuttercrack.com, so please eat your heart out!    OMG OMG these logo's are awesome, who made them? That is our wonderful art director Meneer de Zwart..read more about him on the 'crew' page  Who are you guys?  Are you street / graffiti artists?  Are you musicians?  Are you photographers? It's not our profession, but it's something we do and love. Besides that, photography is a big inspiration to us. This is the reason we also try and feature a lot of aspiring and inspiring photographers. See http://www.shuttercrack.com, and for our Flickr streams:
How can I contribute? Â
Snub23 is forever 23 and active with everything that leaves a mark. Responsible for organizing beer 'n paint sessions and leaving an insane amount of work all over the place. Europe's streetart scene would not be the same without him! So, sorry it took so long, but here's it is: The SPAM! interview with SNUB23!
