It's been a while since we've heard of the crew, but they've sent of pictures of their time in the US. The last we heard, they were deported out of there for causing mayhem, and are now heading to France. Seeing the pictures, we're guessing they've had fun in the Lone star state.

Â

A small word from the man who was lucky enough to be their photographer and live, Matt Crawford: "I should start with mad props to Trevor and the entire Fiz-iks crew for generating the concept for The Orbacle and then finding the masks for The Crew. The entire thing is well conceptualized and looks great. I really like emphasizing the potential for storytelling in a long exposure shot. Stringing along an international story development process is a magnificent thing, the possibilities are literally endless.....with The Crew Fiz-iks provided a very exotic looking cast, a strong story line, and freedom to continue the narrative thread in any direction. So, it's like a perfect project and I am very honored to have been able to play a small part. I can't wait to see how it all develops....."

Â

Now let's see what the crew has been up to in Texas.

Brazil is trying to call us. I think we need to go over there soon to check out the massive amount of talent that steadily flows from the country. Recently we got in contact with Felipe Cretella. Felipe is an art-director/artist/photographer from São Paulo, looking for a way to get around and showcase his work to the world. Seeing that isn't easy to do in Brasil, like many Brasilians, he is looking for a way to do this outside of the country.

Â

Felipe's works are interesting. His work as an art-director is very much that, work. His creative outlets seem very versatile. Lightpainting, play with symmetry and movement. For example, check out the amazing asbestos series based on one of the most famous buildings in São Paulo. Dynamic is the word. Today we'll try and uncover what moves this artist, and we hope to see much more of him in the future.

For those who didn't already know, it's final. Lightpainting has got us sitting upright in our seats and has our full attention. Through our friend and crewmember Dana aka TCB we came in contact with Matt Crawford. Matt has gone trough the same journey we have: He discovered the world of lightpainting and got hypnotized by the lights. Now Matt and his crew are busy on a big project on lightpainting that will include a movie called 'luminary'. The movie is described as a 'gonzo documentary' about lightpainting. For this, Matt and the crew travel the world to show the work of numerous lightpainters/artists all around the globe. We want to know everything about this amazing project, and we will be following the crew in their progress. But first, a proper introduction. Welcome to the world of 'luminary'.

Now what is all this? Our good friends from Fiz-Iks started on a new collaboration project we couldn't be more hyped about! They've searched the earth to find the freakiest animal heads they could find and beheaded them (just kidding, they're just masks but they're still freakishly scary) to tell a lightpainting story on a global scale! The first chapter will be made in the home-base of Fiz-Iks, from where they will be sent to lightpainting artists all over the world that will continue the story. Fiz-Iks gave CFYE the honor to feature this story and let the world see how this story will unfold.

Somewhere in the dark midst of North Carolina (Stanly County to be exact) strange lights are known to appear. Hovering orbs, twirls and trails color the sky on a regular basis. The locals talk about 'el extraterrestre' or area 41. Since the lights have been appearing two years ago, no-one still knows what is going on
