With some artist you just know painting is what keeps them sane, and I bet this goes for Bam-Boo as well. With some crazy painting and portraits skill, this young UK-based talent looks forward to every day he's able to paint. With a love for hiphop and much respect to the master and all the talend around he progresses day by day. With the talent he already has it's clear that we're dealing with a future legend if he keeps on going strong like this. Time for the spam!
Nose one is a master of mixed media artwork. Fine art, illustrations and graffiti are blended into one in his lair in Philadelphia. Besides being a street artist, he also directs Mcjawn, a cultural magazine which is right up our alley. All the more reason to give him some spam!
More Brasil? Yes! We got in contact with Sao from Sao Paulo recently. He kinda forgot, we kinda forgot..and all of a sudden: bang! A brand new sparkling Spam! interview in the cfye inbox. Anyway, you might know Sao from the 6EIMA project (more after the click) together with Delafuente. They give an extra shine to the city in the most original way, using manholes and other parts of the streets in their art. As a solo artist, Sao is very versatile as well, his work is colorful and reminds us of a street Picasso style.
We don't know why but the last weeks we came in touch with lots of cool people from South America, and especially Brazil. One of the main reasons I think, is that they are filled with postive energy and enthusiasm. We don't hug trees or anything but CFYE is all about positive karma loops and good spirited people. Take Ana for example, we came across her in the Shuttercrack Flickr pool. From that moment on, we were hooked by her portfolio and uplifting vibes.
It seems like yesterday we were running around with Posca markers on a daily basis, but I guess we're getting old! Nowadays we are the ones that have to keep an eye on the young ones, because they're hungry! So Check out 15 years young Keelo hailing from Maryland (or Babylon, we don't really know) and founder of the BSF (Balylon SoldierFam). With a bag full of markers, a head full of ambitions and inspirations like Banksy and Basquiat he's detirmined to climb the ladder with his artwork. We interview him now so that we get some love back when he's doing it big in a few years. So untill that day, peep some Spam! with Keelo.
