Muhammad Al-Husayan captured the hard labour of physical construction work and turned it into an art form. A slow show ballet of Caterpillar machines on the shore of the Persian Gulf. With his strong compassion and love for art in all its forms, he explores the beauty of it in life.

“Workers” was shot in Kuwait Khairan area where construction was made. I wanted to shoot and show…Read More »

Tags are important for graffiti. Ask a graffiti artist what the first thing he put up was, and it most likely be a tag with a shit Edison marker somewhere. Tags are a form of typography and the artists are highly specialised in the specific letters of their name. For most it takes years to create interesting hand styles. Yet tags are mostly just seen as acts of vandalism, even by the most open-minded art lovers. So how do you show the beauty of tags?…Read More »

Yesterday, Arden and myself were thinking about our ‘music department’ – Crackforyourears.  Before revamping the website, it had been offline for over an year. Boa Mistura

Loving the works and video’s of spanish writer team Boa Mistura. They’ve got a whole lot of video’s of their work going on, and I liked this one in particular because of the honest and down to earth concept; painting the people you see around them, dignity by portraiture so to say. Check more on their Vimeo channel. Via Miya Eerian

Graffiti Keuken

Fuck yes. Time for some shameless self promotion! Dutch graffiti artist Karski, who we also worked with for the cfye @ the revelry wall, came to me with an idea about a stop motion video recently, and together with his buddy Thyz we created a kick-ass video. People who follow us know that we’ve done some stop motion videos before, like the cfye @ the revelry wall, the crazy huge…Read More »
