Inspiring photography is often sparked by thinking about and seeing compositions that other don’t. This is why architecture and photography go together so well; it teaches to see lines, converging points, etc. which work great in photography. A good example of this is architect and photographer Matteo Bucciol, living in Padua, Italy.

Matteo graduated at the University of Venice in 2011 and now works in the field of sustainable energy. He grew up with the photography of his father, who is very technical. Matteo is more focussed on abstract photography. With his camera’s (Minolta SRT, Rollei 35s and Minolta Dynax 7) he shoots the pictures that fit with his mood. Matteo: “I suppose that my photos speak about me, with all the loneliness and emotions that describe every day of my life. I shoot when I feel something strong around me, or simply have an idea.”
